We are very pleased to announce that Jürgen Landes just joined us as an Assistant Professor. Jürgen holds a PhD in mathematical logic, from the University of Manchester (2009), and has been doing philosophy proper since 2012. His main interest is in uncertain inference. In particular, he works on Pure Inductive Logic, the Principle of Maximum Entropy, general Bayesian inference and Bayesian inference in medicine. Jürgen’s position is funded by NextGenerationEU, (PNR) 2021-2027.
